This year 2008 is the 35th Anniversary of Countrylife New Zealand, founded by me in 1973.

After long consideration and much soul searching, Bryan and I have decided to discontinue manufacturing Robin Rive bears. This is with much regret especially as many of you have been customers for many years. As some of you know, Bryan had a serious operation recently so this has lent some urgency to our decision.

Because I love the bears so much, I will be making just a few 1 of 1’s and selling them directly on the Robin Rive website.

Brigitte and Gareth will be continuing with the gollies under their own brand, ‘Brigitte Rive’. We wish to thank you for many years of wonderful support and to hope that 2008 will bring you good health and happiness.
